Yeah, well... this time it seems really cruel to give it to us like they're special holiday gifts. It's different when it's just a simple letter in the mail, or a parcel.

It's safe to assume there's plenty of idiots who did just go ahead and open their gifts without any suspicion, so unless you think you're so special the town would single you out for bizarre treatment, you can generally gauge its safety by their reactions.

No, but that's the kind of stuff I expect her, and it'd be just my luck to get something like that on Christmas.

Like I said, I doubt the town's going to single you out, so if everyone else has managed to open their presents without anything terrible happening, you're probably just being paranoid.
