What about it? [ It's partly that, and partly just survival instinct. Saying no to Mikoto in a state like this is just plain dumb. But, really? He doesn't have any good reasons to stomp on their dreams in the first place -- he just thought that the tension was a natural part of their dynamic, and flipping that around right off the bat would be a dead giveaway. ]
